Hope everyone had a wonderful labor day weekend, and a good start to their week! I’m definitely in that fog that only a long weekend leaves you in, so I figured I’d just stay blissfully ignorant of my obligations for just a few minutes more and relive a little bit of my weekend!Last night, Derick and I caught a movie together to soak up the last bit of the long weekend (If you like thrillers, Don’t Breathe was SO GOOD.) The reason I titled my post as The Getting Dressed Project is because, believe it or not, I actually do not put much thought into what I wear a majority of the time. I know, like many of my fellow women, I have fallen into the habit of throwing on a pair of yoga pants or some comfy workout clothes and running out the door. Not to say that that is a bad thing, but I find I never really feel put together or my best when I do that. This project of sorts is to (hopefully) hold me accountable to my goal and help me to dress more intentionally. A movie date is a perfect example of that because I definitely would have gone in yoga pants and an old high school sweatshirt on a normal day ;).
I love these flats, so comfy and cute, I got them from the DSW clearance room for $25! Definitely hit your local DSW clearance room if you haven’t before, I got 4 pairs of brand name boots/booties for under $100 last fall and they had nothing wrong with them whatsoever! Also, as a point of functionality, a tote like this is perfect for sneaking snacks into the movie theater ;).
