Jumping back in after like five months of not posting, totally fine ;).
I’ve been wanting to share a lot of things, including her birth story eventually. But, I felt like her nursery was pretty much finished and I love how it turned out, so I wanted to go ahead and share a little tour. I also linked everything in case any mamas are looking for some of this stuff! A tonnnnn of this is off of Amazon, which is where I registered which I would HIGHLY recommend. I can confidently tell you that I am happy with everything I am linking, both price and quality-wise! We went for a very general floral/animals/nature theme, and we kept it neutral with gray walls and carpeting with white and gray furniture and pops of color throughout! I didn’t want the color scheme to be something she grew out of easily in the years to come, I think she will enjoy her room for a long time before wanting to make any changes. This is a project that both Derick and I loved working on, and we spend a lot of time playing and reading with Everly here.

One of my favorite corners of the room is definitely the glider and bookshelves. My mom raised us to love books and read me many of the ones we have for Everly growing up! I am continuing to add to her library a few books at a time, but I love how these shelves can display all of our well-loved favorites. We lay on the floor and read a few to her every day and she loves it, a girl after my own heart! As for the glider, we have lots of nursing and snuggle-sessions here. I am extremely happy with the quality and comfort of this considering the price! It also was Prime, so free two-day shipping, and assembled in literally 5 minutes.
