Happy weekend y’all, we made it! πππ
Today, in between the times the hubs was jumping out of an airplane (he’s a certified skydiver/thrill seeker/adrenaline junkie), he helped me take some blog photos so that I could work on a post while I waited for him to float down! If you couldn’t tell by the post title, the dress I’m wearing was $2. You read right, TWO DOLLARS! Now, I know what you’re thinking. Did I get it at a garage sale? Nope. Did I get it from a thrift store? Nope. Was there something colossal wrong with it? Nope. It was brand spankin’ new with nothing wrong, so how’d I get it for $2? You’ll have to read on to find out π. Meanwhile, here’s 3 ways you can wear this versatile dress! ππ½
Style 1: Cold shoulder with straps.
Style 2: Off the shoulder.
Style 3: Spaghetti straps.
Outfit Deets// Dress: Lavendar Boutique. Hat: Francesca’s (gifted last year, closest I could find HERE.) Gladiator Sandals: Amazon (only $21!) Sunnies: Sunglasses Hut ($70 cheaper HERE.) Earrings: F21.
So, back to the dress! This was from Lavendar Boutique (a local boutique by my house at the Collection at Forsyth, although I’m pretty sure there are multiple in Georgia!) I never shop there unless they are having a sale since they are typically a pricier boutique, but I got a text notification that they were having a rock bottom clearance sale, and that everything on the clearance rack was $2, $5, or $10! I ran over there, and it was jam packed with super cute stuff in perfect condition at yard sale prices! The dress I wore for Easter in this Instagram post was only $5! I ended up walking out of there with like 6 or 7 things that retailed at probably $300 total for under $20! Some of the best ways to get high end clothing at low costs is to sign up for any kind of alerts that the store has and shop their sales, ESPECIALLY their clearance sales! Since this was a clearance buy, here are a few cute similars! Here, here, here, and here βΊ.
Have a good rest of your weekend friends, and may the clearance sales be ever in your favor π.
