Project House to Home: DIY Coffee Table Makeover

Happy weekend friends!

As promised, I am sharing my latest project for the house! I am so excited about this piece because since adding it in with the rug and the couches, I feel like it’s given the living room such a homey feel.

Total project cost: about $40

I scored this unique coffee table off of a local yard sale page for $25 because it was very dinged up, but still a solid, quality piece! Plus, I loved how it had sliding doors that we could use to hide remotes and such easily! I used a brush, roller  and primer that I already had and then paid about $13 for paint and a few dollars for some latex gloves (a worthy investment for when it came to painting those little shelves!) All in all, I’m so happy with how it turned out!

Room deets: Rug (on a Black Friday sale now for even cheaper than I got it *kicks self.) Throw Pillows: T.J. Maxx Homegoods. Fur Throw: Gifted (similar HERE.) Wooden Accent Bowl: Homegoods. Pet Bed: you guessed it, Homegoods 😉

The steps I used to redo this piece are the same as for the hutch I redid, with the only difference being paint color! I used a quart of Behr’s Premium Plus Paint and Primer in One in “Burnished Pewter,” and it was the perfect amount for this piece! Now, onto my next project, getting ambitious and gonna try to strip paint and stain, cross your fingers for me! 😬😅

Love,

Konnor with a K
