Fair Date Fall Layers

Happy Thursday Friends!

It is finally starting to feel like fall around here in good ole GA! Meaning it’s stopped getting above 85 degrees during the day for the most part (thank GOODNESS 🙌) and has beautiful chilly evenings. Fall is easily my favorite season. I just love seeing the leaves change, the beautiful skies, the cool breeze, the candles (Sweater Weather and Flannel are my jam,) having bonfires, going to corn mazes and pumpkin patches and the fair. And of course, what kind of girl would I be if I didn’t mention how much I love fall clothes! Outfit Deets • T-shirt: T.J. Maxx (similar here) • Plaid button-down: Gap (similar here) • Jeans: Dress Up (similar here) • White converse: DSW •

Derick and I went to the county fair yesterday, and I was struggling with what to wear because it was going to be warm when we got there in the afternoon and cold once the sun set. I opted for some light layers that I could take off/put on if necessary. Tying a flannel or plaid button-down around your waist to wear with a t-shirt is a really easy go-to! As soon as I got chilly, I just threw the shirt on and was good for the rest of the night! And you can’t go wrong with some white chucks 😉 Found a great video for cleaning white shoes a little while back, super easy and it has kept mine that I’ve had for at least a year looking good! I’m going to need it again after walking around the fair and the petting zoo all night! I am looking forward to having that temperature drop in the day soon, because that’ll mean that it’s time to break out the boots!

Have a great fall weekend!
