IT. WAS. AWESOME.
Kid you not, I don’t know what people mean when they say they hate prom or that it’s overrated. IT’S NOT.
I was worried my first prom experience would be either cliche, or horrible, or both! The way my date asked me was awesome (a rose, the little fluttery pieces of paper with “prom” written all over them, the whole nine yards,) I was still left with some concern on how the night would go. Would the music be terrible? Would the food not be enough, leaving me hungry and therefore grumpy? Would I trip on my dress?
No, no, and no.
It was all perfect, a beautiful venue, fantastic music, great date, tons of dancing, and wonderful music. I was stressed out about doing my hair and makeup at first, but after lighting a couple of tea lights, opening some windows, playin’ a little Buble, I enjoyed the time by myself to get ready and the fact that I spent zero dollars doing so (always a bonus.) So, I have to share some candid prom pictures. And by some, a mean a lot. Sorry about the overload of pictures, I just can’t help myself 🙂
Oh, and I’m going to another schools prom next week, get ready for round two of pictures haha 🙂
