Thanks for the Memories: Homecoming Week!

Hello friends,

This is a little bit of a flash-back to homecoming week, but it was so full of fun costumes and themes, I kinda had to share. ๐Ÿ™‚ For twin day, my friend and I dressed up as ghost busters, for fairy tale day I was Sneezy, one of seven dwarfs complete with a Snow White ;). But, my absolute favorite day to dress up for was ‘merica day! We had to show patriotism and find something that was an American symbol. I automatically thought of Rosie the Riveter. She was one of the biggest symbols for women during WWII, because while all the men were gone fighting, they were working all the jobs, supporting the troops, and even working as nurses for the wounded. She was a great motivator for American women and she is still widely recognized today, so I went for it! ๐Ÿ™‚

Complete with painstakingly applied fake lashes ๐Ÿ˜‰Tweaked the outfit with an American flag bandana instead!

And what ‘merica day wouldn’t be complete without some inspired photos?!Any fun homecoming week stories to share? ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, and have a happy Thanksgiving! ๐Ÿ˜€

Love,

Konnor with a K
