A Few of My Favorite Things: Brown Paper Packages and Long Weekends!

Ewwww the little clasp thing-y is showing. Pet peev, right there.
Enjoying the beautiful sunflowers was also a part of my lazy Sunday. 🙂

Well, I’d like to start off with a happy almost labor day to every one! With all the chaos that comes with the beginning of the school year, it is REALLY nice to have a peaceful, three day weekend. 🙂 My lazy Sunday consisted of:

1.) Playing my ukulele.

2.) Watching the Office (a.k.a. the best show ever!)

3.) Cleaning and rearranging my room (complete with a new vanity area!)

4.) Putting off homework.

5.) Mass (beautiful as always!)

6.) Making this blog post!

Pretty interesting, right? But sometimes it is exactly what ya need, time to regroup. But before this awesome three day weekend, I received a lovely package. 😀 Do you know how you order something, and then you forget for a few days that you did, and then all of the sudden it’s there in your lap and you’re so excited because it was sorta unexpected even though it wasn’t? Yeah, that happened to me! A fellow fashion blogger and new shop owner, lifeinmod, has come out with an awesome, chic line of jewelry that is totally affordable (check out her blog here and her store here!)

Dress: New York and Company, Cardi: Target, Necklace: Lepompon, Bracelets: Gifted, Shoes: Target. Apologies for the frizzy hair and bad quality pictures, it was getting dark out haha!

The necklace was just as beautiful as I’d hoped it would be. This will be worn with many more outfits to come for sure! And I think I’m going to start a new series on the blog about high school life, just because there aren’t a whole lot of high school bloggers out there! I’m thinking “The Chronicles of Highschool” or “Life of a Teenage Blogger.” Those were pretty sarcastic, but seriously, it’s gotta be epic. 🙂 What do y’all think?

Love, Konnor with a K

  1. Oooh I love how you styled it, Konnor! Thank you for featuring one of my pieces. 🙂 I would love to use one of the pictures on my shop…if you don’t mind!

    Cheers.

    1. Camille, thank you so much! I should be the one thanking you for giving me something to feature! And that would be awesome, do you want me to email them to you?
