Hello everybody!
I had my first to two days of school this week, and for those of you who have started back, I hope that it is going well! I’m glad it’s already the weekend! It’s definetly gonna take some time get used to that six AM alarm :P. We only had a two month summer, what’s up with that? It’s gonna be tough doing the blogging with school and working, but I’m determined to keep up with it! Anyways, moving onto fashion! If you have been watching for recent trends, blazers have become a major must-have for both a professional, dressy look as well as a casual one. A good amount of people associate blazers with job interviews, school-girl uniforms, and tough, power-hungry business women. Stereotypes. Blazers have come out in several new and unique styles, including tapering, patterns, and materials that make them easy to dress up or down. Also, since they are trending, you can get them at a variety of stores and some cost very little money! I got mine at Kohl’s, but there are several other great blazers at H&M (this) and Forever 21 (this). Mine was $20 dollars, and since it’s a cotton blend, it is super comfortable and lightweight! It’s great for a day out with friends with a pair of shorts or jeans, or jazzed up a bit with some bling, skinnies, and flats for something less casual! Dresses, skirts, and slacks with heels or wedges with blazers can make great professional, day-to-evening looks. A great buy for sure, and can be worn year round! You’ll be seeing this bad boy with scarved and boots in the fall/winter ;). Post pictures on my FB page if you have a blazer to show! Love suggestions! Oh, and be watchin’ for a DIY soon, I have a brilliant idea! 😀

Love, Konnor with a K
